Several of you have shared with us that you are talking with your friends and colleagues about our networks, GLOBALINK and GLOBAL VALUE. This of course makes good sense, since a conversation or two, or an email or two, can result in a profit contribution to you company which is 10 or 20 timesmore than some of the profits made on average shipments! I’m talking about our referral program, which nets your company $500.00 every time one of your referrals joins either group.
We sell our networks every day, and to do that, we have to distinguish them for all the rest. I would like to share a few of these points with you.

First and foremost, we are committed to quality over quantity. We believe our approach builds business more effectively than many of the others. Why? Because we limit membership to companies that are well established, we consistently enforce our standards, our customer service is very responsive, and we continually look to add value. What we know works for sure is putting quality companies together in smaller groups works, and jamming thousands of people in a room doesn’t work very well at all. We are the only network that has gone to the expense and time to create a quality ranking tool, in the industry. We put our money where our commitment lies.
We’ve proven our model as successful now for over 15 years, we’re not going anywhere. And, we’ve stood by our model, haven’t changed it, just refined it.
We support our members and have helped several over the years with untangling issues or situations. We don’t have payment issues that remain unresolved of any kind.
We see our role as much more than a speed dating service. We’ve attended other groups that call a meeting one big one on one event. While we appreciate the value of ONE on ONE MEETINGS, we are engaged with issues facing all the members, like our proactive approach to the issues surrounding AMAZON, as well as highlighting various risks such as the FMC’s current posture towards fines. We are committed to serving, informing and alerting the group as to issues affecting all of us. We take a leadership role on behalf of the group.
And, we put on great annual meetings, as verified by our member surveys.
We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together, and having a friend or colleague join, has never been a disappointment.

How many networks do you know of that pays their members? We have learned from experience that some of the best members come referred to us by existing members. We pay $500 to the member for each new quality agent that joins the network as a result of their referral. After they do that 4 times they get their next year’s membership renewal FREE.
The Hour Long Phone Call
This week I was kept on the phone for over an hour while a prospect I had called talked non-stop about how worried he was that companies like Amazon and Hapag Lloyd are making moves in the logistics industry, and how independent forwarders don’t stand a chance. But when I offered up the network as a solution, and a way to compete with these large companies, he didn’t want to hear it. Huh?
There are so many networks out there today, and it seems to me that most companies are so desensitized that they automatically assume that all networks are created equal. But, as all of you now, you can waste plenty of money on a network that doesn’t offer value. I can’t imagine there is another network that is half as concerned as we are in facilitating a discussion among our members regarding a way to adapt and grow with the industry…we have even gone as far as organizing a regional meeting!
